1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to FPLyzer ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using our website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

FPLyzer is a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) analytics and AI prediction platform. The Service provides:

• AI-powered player performance predictions and confidence scores
• Team optimisation, formation analysis, and captain recommendations
• Transfer suggestions using form-aware value scoring algorithms
• Wildcard and chip strategy optimisation
• Player availability, injury, and fixture difficulty reports
• Season calendars, hidden-gem analysis, and weekly picks
• Gameweek wrapped summaries and performance benchmarking

3. Eligibility & Registration

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
• Register with a valid email address, a valid FPL Team ID, and a phone number.
• Provide an invite code if required at the time of registration.
• Create a password that meets our security requirements (minimum 12 characters, mixed case, digit, and symbol).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Open Beta & Subscription Tiers

Current Beta Tier

During the open beta, all accounts have unrestricted access to the full suite of features including team optimisation, transfer planner, wildcard optimiser, gameweek wrapped, hidden gems, weekly picks, availability reports, and all analytics tools.

Future Premium Tier

A paid Premium tier is planned for a future release. When introduced, it will unlock advanced and exclusive features beyond the standard free offering. Existing beta users will be notified in advance of any changes to feature access.

We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or introduce new tiers at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before reducing access for existing users.

5. Third-Party Content & Trademarks

FPLyzer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club.

"Premier League", "FPL", and associated trademarks belong to their respective owners. Player names, team names, and statistical data are referenced under fair-use principles for analytical commentary.

The Service may become temporarily unavailable during gameweek score updates or other external events beyond our control. We are not responsible for data inaccuracies originating from external sources.

6. Accuracy of Predictions & No Guarantee

You acknowledge that Fantasy Premier League outcomes are inherently unpredictable and influenced by factors outside the scope of any model (injuries during matches, managerial decisions, weather, etc.).

FPLyzer shall not be liable for any decisions you make based on the Service's output, including but not limited to transfers, captain choices, chip usage, or team selection.

7. No Gambling or Financial Advice

The Service is designed solely for Fantasy Premier League — a free-to-play game. Nothing on this platform constitutes gambling advice, betting tips, or financial recommendations.

You must not use FPLyzer predictions or data to inform real-money wagering or betting activities. We accept no responsibility for any losses incurred from such use.

8. User Data & Privacy

We collect and process the following personal data when you register and use the Service:

• Account data: Username, email address, phone number, country code, FPL Team ID.
• Authentication data: Securely hashed passwords (bcrypt). We never store plain-text passwords.
• Usage data: Feature usage logs (which features you access, response times, IP addresses, session IDs) for analytics and service improvement.
• Communication data: Email opt-in preferences for gameweek reminders.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalise the Service (loading your FPL squad, generating predictions for your team).
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset) and service communications (reminders, reports, updates, and promotional content).
• To generate aggregated, anonymised analytics to improve the Service.

Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored in Google Cloud with access controls and encrypted connections. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions are secured with CSRF protection and rate limiting.

Your Rights

• You may update your email, phone number, and password from your Profile page.
• You may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or your Profile settings.
• You may delete your account at any time using the delete button in your account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

9. Email Communications

By registering, you agree that we may contact you by email for any purpose related to the Service, including but not limited to:

• Transactional emails — account verification, password reset, and security notices. These cannot be opted out of.
• Service communications — gameweek reminders, deadline alerts, and weekly results.
• Reports & insights — AI-generated reports, player recommendations, and performance summaries.
• Product updates — new features, improvements, and platform announcements.
• Promotional content — offers, news, and curated FPL tips from FPLyzer.

Non-transactional emails can be toggled off at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or from your Profile settings.

We will never sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others or operate multiple accounts.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at scale.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our prediction models or algorithms.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other security measures.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform.
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit any data or predictions from the Service without written permission.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination at our sole discretion.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, code, designs, machine-learning models, algorithms, reports, and branding on FPLyzer are the intellectual property of FPLyzer and its creator(s), unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FPLyzer and its creator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from:

• Your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
• Inaccurate predictions, recommendations, or data.
• Downtime, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
• Actions taken based on the Service's output.

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time using the delete button available in your account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

14. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Temporary unavailability during gameweek score updates.
• Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
• Infrastructure issues beyond our control.

We will endeavour to restore the Service as quickly as possible during any outage.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
